I noticed we don't have one of these and I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread where everyone can post their setup.

i still love my original rixter's mechanical gauge :D, personally, i would never trade it for the digital successor he made

My boost gauge was on my laptop with safe shutoff protocol... I like aem gauges though,,, In 2 see what others have,,,
I have a VDO stock looking boost gauge. I'll get some pics this weekend. They are not very fancy, but it works. I'm thinking about getting 1 of those fancy gauges that save the highest boost level you hit until you do another run. At times I'm afraid to take my eye off the road. ;-)
dude, rixster's setup is sick w/ the embedded AC vent display!

I dont like the gauge down by the shifter were it can not be viewed without smashing into a tree.
I designed a pod that goes in the vent to the left of the steering wheel (not the one where the p3 gauge goes - but above that). It holds 52mm or 60mm gauges. Our cast is done and we should have stock soon.
^ pics!
not a great picture, but you can see them if your sneaky

sick man in the rear view lol, ive seen that kind of set up, pretty slick buddy!
Thanks guys!
Lollll! Totally agree though! Honestly though, don't matter where you put a gauge in a high power car, way too hard to look at it when your worrying about traction, rev limiter, ect ect. I love my Defi's because they can record and play back up to 3min of data and my Innovative AFR can be logged via laptop
I think the ones embedded in the gauge cluster are the most convenient, followed by the AC vent setup. The ones near the shifter seem distracting but a quick glance can't hurt if you're careful.
The optimal setup would be a Heads up Display like the M5 has w/ the speedometer, except one with the boost would own!
I like the A/C vent gauge. It looks factory.
The Rixster gauge is badass but someone also did a sweet ass setup with a gauge in the rear view mirror which was trick.
this one is pretty sick for a rear view mirror
