Swapping a BMW M54 I6 into a Ford Mustang and adding a top mount single turbo
Well, it seems Toyota started a growing trend here with BMW I6's being swapped into other makes. This is one you likely would never have anticipated seeing. A BMW M54 swapped into a fifth generation Mustang with a top mount single turbocharger.
Why an M54? Why not? They are fairly easy to source and cheap. There are obviously several other BMW I6 candidates that make more sense but this is definitely different.
So who is doing this swap? Goat Slide Racing. A group out of Sweden and the Swedish have a history of insane BMW turbo swaps.
What kind of power will it make? When will it be complete? Who knows. It certainly is getting close to completion and hopefully the group will post some videos of it in action.
