Mercedes Petronas has released their rendering of the W02 2011 Formula 1 car
Mercedes GP Petronas had been doing teasers of the new car and now they have revealed the full design. You will likely notice first the new color scheme. Along with that, aerodynamic enhancements for the 2011 season have been made with the nosecone and wing undergoing major changes. They are calling this car the "Silver Arrow" and it will make its debut at the first Formula One winter test in Valencia on February 1st.

+1 hopefully Michael got what he wanted out of the new development. He seemed pretty unhappy with last years car, even though Rosberg was doing exceptionally well with it.

BEAST!!
If you notice those wing-like structures attached to the front splitter, they are design to channel air into the ducts just above and behind them; at high speeds. I am sure a lot of CFD was performed on this design, Formula really do try to squeeze every available ounce of power out of these cars.Some people live long, meaningful lives.
Other people eat shit and die.
