Modded 135i vs. Bone Stock Honda Civic EX, with a catch...

Ok here's the deal.

My friend at work just bought a brand new 2012 honda civic EX, it boasts a ground pounding 140 hp eco friendly engine. Weighs about 3000 lbs with him in it.

My car, 135i with JB4. In race trim I run 18 psi on race gas and 1100 ml/min of meth. Stock IC, Stock DPs.
Dunlop Direzze star spec tires and cool carbon brake pads for the stoppage.

I can regularly pull high 1.7 60 fts and 4 flat 0-60 mph on the street. It has already run consistent low 12s in the 1/4.

The race:

He jokingly said his car will woop mine. I said ok, well I can probably do 0-60 twice before you can even get to 60.

I thought about it for maybe 2 seconds. We both agreed, it was on.

The race hasn't taken place yet, but it will.

The rules as follows: from a dead stop I have to hit 60 then come to a complete stop and hit 60 again before he hits 60 mph.

He has no experience racing, then again he doesnt need any; the car is slow but I can underestimate what cant go wrong for me during the entire ordeal.

It won't work. I tried something similar to this but 0-30-0-30. It takes too much time to come to a complete stop and launch again. He should hit 60 in about 9 seconds or so.

Ok we just spoke about it again.

Were each gonna have one head in the car with stopwatches to confirm we hit 60 when we were supposed to. This is to my advantage because now the power to weight is shifted in my favor even more.

should be pretty hard to pull off a win, cause coming to a dead stop takes more than one second. If it takes him 9 seconds to get to 60, and it takes you 4 seconds, times two and then add in the time it took to stop. Idk dude... but good luck!

Going to be tough as it will take you some time to slow down then go again. I think even the crappy Civic can get to 60 in that amount of time.
