Audi launches the updated/facelifted 2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra race car at Geneva - Pictures, video, and specifications

Here is the new 2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra which Audi unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show. The new R8 LMS Ultra features design elements from the new facelifted R8 road car namely the updated front and rear lights. Beyond just styling changes the new race car also gets new aerodynamics including changes to the front, rear, and also the underbody. There also is a very large new wing designed obviously to help with stability.

Other changes include the new wheels which are forged aluminum and actually weigh less than the magnesium wheels they replace by 2.2 pounds per wheel which is incredible. The engine remains unchanged and is the same 5.2 liter V10 570 horsepower unit.

Pricing? $440,767 plus tax. This is not a toy for boys. Pictures and specs below.
