4/2/16 No Fly Zone Results
Had a blast this time around at the 1/2 mile event. Car was running flawlessly the whole entire time! I started with some 23 psi runs, did 156mph. Turned it up a bit and hit 162, then 166, and a best of 167.9mph @ 30psi. I went about 12 times in total which was actually little compared to others 20+ runs.
This new PI integration, Spool up mode, and Vanos files from Terry@BMS has changed the car like no other. It is so much smoother now during the 1/2 mile pulls. I believe this is what mostly helped my car finally run like it's supposed to.
A couple FBO N54 were trapping about 140~
Tony came a bit late, but he still got a couple runs in too with his new car.
I wasn't going for any records to be honest. I was just very happy my engine was finally running right and not misfiring in the higher gears like before. Here is the 167.9 mph run on video. I messed up 2-3rd shift and hit rev limiter, probably cause I started the video the same time. You can see a lot of time in between shifts as well with this large turbo. I'm sure I could have greatly benefited with NLS. I feel that was mostly contributing to my misfires before as it would get the cyl hot.
Topping out 5th gear it seems too. Might have to ask Terry to bring my redline up to 7500 for these types of events.

Well done! 7500 redline would help a bit. You really need a built motor / head to take advantage of that turbo though! How'd the other high HP n54's run?

167.9 is awesome! congrats! So you think NLS was contributing to misfires? That sucks, it's such a benefit to keep some boost between shifts with that big turbo.
