Mercedes intent on competing with BMW 1M Coupe and Audi RS3? A-Class AMG coming
BenzInsider is reporting that Mercedes has announced through its AMG division it intends to build a rival to the Audi RS3 and BMW 1M Coupe based on the A-Class. We have not seen an announcement from Mercedes confirming this so take it as a rumor for now. However, what is presented is quite interesting with a 320 hp A-Class AMG hatchback to go toe to toe. We say bring it on, and if it looks as good as the rendering and performs as well as the competition it will be a hit.

What a hideous looking car!
Looks like a Scirocco with a Merc nose. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works

I wonder why it took them over 14 years to finally decide to bring the A class over here. 320HP sounds very promising.

I don't know who makes up these renderings, but they have no imagination what soever.
The first looks alot like an Opel Astra
And the second one is a spitting image of a Ford Mondeo, both with a Merc nose

I am definately interested in a small class Mercedes. I would own one if it came out in a year or two. Turbo merc in small chassis, I'd hit it!
