The first Maybach 57S Coupe, dubbed the Cruiserio, is up for sale in Saudi Arabia.

Created by Xenatec, the Maybach-endorsed conversion was designed by Burch Fred Hardt (the man who penned the Exelero concept) and features sporty, yet conservative styling. Only 100 examples of the Xenatec Maybach coupe will be produced, each built to order to the buyer's specifications. That means just about any of the Maybach saloon's features can be specified, as can a glass roof, 20 or 21-inch wheels, or – drawing from Xenatec's background in ballistic protection – even armor plating.

Power is provided by a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 603 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. This enables the coupe to accelerate from (0-100 km/h) in five seconds, before hitting a top speed 171 mph.

Production is limited to 100 units and pricing starts at €675,000 ($892,455 / £577,940), but the first one is going for €715,000 ($945,295 / £612,170).

The Maybach coupe you see here has the same chassis as the Maybach sedan but modified to a shorter wheelbase.

    Yep, based on the S-class.

I dont think the Maybach 62 or the 57 share the chassis with the S Class.

The Maybach 57 (chassis no. W240) and 62 (chassis no. V240)

It does have its own chassis code but it is based on the previous generation S class, drivetrain, interior layout, dash, motor, trans, and chassis pieces as well.

This is a Maybach THEY (the people who can afford one) drive. I think the 57 is meant to be driven too.

I'd drive it. I'd tune it too and take it to the strip.

Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

It isn't really an official Maybach product, they are just endorsing the conversion.
