FBO 335i at the Drag Strip this weekend.

Just some fun runs this weekend at our local track. Air temps were right at 50degrees and the track was very cold. I was unable to get below 2.0 60ft times which affected my ET's greatly even with drag radials 1st and 2nd gear were slick. That along with bad track prep led me to only run 12.6 @ 115mph. Still a fun night, as you can see in the videos I was taking it easy into 2nd gear which probably cost me some time also.

Cobra had skinnys and wrinkle wall slicks so he pulled me off the bottom pretty hard. we trapped within 1mph of each other. I ran 12.737 @114.41mph Cobra ran 12.138 @115.26mph. This was the cobras best run of the night.

Buddy of mines GN.. nice car he was running street tires which hurt him a bit. GN has Big turbo, FMIC, Meth, different gears lots of other unknown mods. Trapped 107mph i was running him down hard. I ran 12.885 @ 114.43mph, Grand National ran 13.037 @ 107.14mph

    Ford Lightning Pully, Tune, Ported blower. I ran 12.6 @ 115.04mph, Lightning ran 13.2 @ 107.89mph

Overall a good night, wish traction would have been better but still a good night!

E60 mix Map7 w/backend race flash... I was running Nitto NT05R drag radials 275/40/17. I was not able to get the tires up to temp, there was no water in the burnout area and without some moisture they are hard to spin hard or long enough to get sticky in those temps. Last year I was able to cut consistent 1.7-1.8 60ft times. Basically I was able to clean the tires off and make a pass. I have time slips ill post up tomorrow when I get to work.

This is what the car looks like with Koseis and the NT05R's There is a 15lb weight savings per wheel/tire with this setup vs stock 189's and runflats

Ok makes sense. Maybe it's time for a line lock. Thanks for sharing the vids.

Im in the left lane on all passes. As you can see my 60ft times sucked and really affected my 1/8mile times and overall ET.
