Ferrari F12 vs Lamborghini Aventador Drag Racing Video

video of a Ferrari F12 racing heads up against a Lamborghini Aventador at a private event at an airstirp. The Ferrari F12 with it’s front engine V12 pushing out 730HP via rear wheel drive was no match for the Aventador’s mid-engine V12 with 700HP and all wheel drive. Both cars were using launch control but the Aventador simply left the Ferrari for dead.

Interesting. We had an airport event here and an Aventador actually lost to a MP4-12c in a 1km race.
They make an appearance in this video from 5minutes on but I can't find footage of the actual race.

I don't think the MP4 is capable of beating an Aventedor. Maybe it would be ahead by a little from a starting acceleration, but eventually the bull would over take it. Remember lambo has 12 firing beasts under the hood

It should be pretty close the updated MP4-12C software puts the car at the same if not higher trap speed than the Aventador and being rear wheel drive and lighter it may take the Aventador up top.

Horrible reaction from the F12 driver- 4wd will always launch better but that was pathetic reaction time. We just got our first F12 here locally, and we have a drive with Balboni next weekend so hopefully the new F12 owner is willing to go head on with one of the aventy's. Roll, I would take the F12... track, too... but would love to see a video either way. This was an exciting video, thanks to the poster

That lambo can really move out of the hole. Even if the Ferrari got a good launch it wasn't going catch the lambo

The airfield was at Wyalkatchem which is about 200km north east of Perth.
It was suprising how quick so many of the cars were.
I got badly thrashed by nearly everything. Was still great fun.
