Sheikh takes his LaFerrari and GT3 back to Qatar leaving the USA after speeding through the streets of Beverly Hills
Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani is a member of the ruling family of Qatar. This means he has plenty of Qatar's oil and gas money controlled by his family to spend on toys like a LaFerrari along with a 991 GT3 among others. He also apparently thinks this money means he can do whatever he wants.
The LaFerrari and GT3 were captured speeding through the streets of Beverly Hills. Having fast cars is fine. Recklessly speeding through residential neighborhoods at triple digits is something else entirely.
You can take a look at the video below to get an idea of what was going on. Neighbors filed complaints with the Police and Hamad Al Thani is stated to have told a reporter that he has diplomatic immunity. This is false, he does not. He also told that same reporter he could kill him if he wanted to and get away with it following that statement up with, '$#@! America.'
Video journalist Jacob Rogers said that a man confronted him when he captured the incident on video.
“He told me verbatim, ‘I could have you killed and get away with it,’” Rogers said. “I told him, ‘the press is allowed to be here on the sidewalk on a public street.’ He said, ‘(Expletive) America’ and threw a cigarette at me.”
It is also interesting to note the LaFerrari appears to overheat with smoke billowing out after the joy ride through the neighborhood. Not a good sign for the LaFerrari if some rich $#@! (that is their demographic after all) can break the car with just a high speed residential joyride.

I wonder what is really going on because you don't usually see this behaviour in the US from visiting Foreign Royal Family members (from any country, apart from the millions of dollars unpaid traffic tickets).......On the other hand in London they do this all the time.....
This one was very scary and dangerous and I am still in shock every time i watch the video.....That LaF got messed up big time and yes they probably did leave the country after finding out they probably did not have any diplomatic immunity or protection. No one knows the real story apart from the people who broke the law in the first place.

What I'm wondering about is that the minute they came out from that building they seemed to be in a hurry with any disregard to public safety or the cars themselves.

I hear about this London thing a lot but the US is a much larger territory and California in particular is far more open.
This is just someone who feels they are untouchable and can do whatever they want. It's arrogant, stupid, and dangerous behavior.
The family should take the money away considering how he embarrassed them.

From the article:
Now it is being reported that the identity of that LaFerrari driver may have been uncovered and that rumors of a connection with Qatari royalty have been confirmed. Police have linked the LaFerrari in question to Sheikh Khalid Hamad Al-Thani, a member of Qatar’s ruling family.

I'm sure he won't be stepping on american soil again $#@!ing moron. He's the idiot and gets mad at america for his own stupidity. I'd love to see him get arrested spewing diplomatic immunity only to be laughed at and get thrown in jail and made an example of what a fool truly is. LMAO seems about normal for most of the world these days. can't take responsibility and blame goes around to everyone else.

I want to know how he managed to overheat the engine so much to make it smoke that bad. I would have figured the LaF would have cooling overkill.

Let me help:
As the Police presence and investigation ratcheted it up the LaFerrari as well as Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani himself disappeared apparently leaving the country.
Are they going to use their Navy?
You think this is a joke? You think this is ok to do in residential neighborhoods? You don't think the owner is liable at all especially if someone is hit or killed? What, you just buy your way out of it? It doesn't work that way here.
I don't know I've been traveling since I was a child and I actually rode a bicycle across Europe during one summer visiting each country on the way thoroughly. Yes, through the whole continent, before my audience with the Pope. Worldly enough for you now?
55 thousand US citizens are in Qatar? Wow, cool story bro. Qatar must be awesome and the 330+ million in the USA can't wait to go. I know I can't. California sucks and so does Beverly Hills where apparently the cars are sent because it's so awesome in Qatar.
Isn't that if you guys host the cup? How many people need to be bribed and killed again?
In earlier version of this post, and accompanying graphic, created the impression that more than 1,000 migrant workers in Qatar had died working on 2022 World Cup infrastructure. The post should have made clearer that the figures involved all migrant deaths in Qatar. A report by Qatar’s government found 964 deaths of migrants from India, Nepal and Bangladesh in 2012 and 2013. Other groups have cited a higher number over a longer period of time.

Why is that sad? Honestly I live in a great country, it pays me well, I can see plains, mountains, deserts, multiple types of forests, palm trees and beaches, etc. It has basically every type of environment other than frozen tundra. I can go to any state without having to show my papers or get permission.
Why the $#@! would I want to come visit a desert half a world away when I can be at one in a 3 hour plane ride without going through customs, land, rent a car and drive on the road with the exact same laws with people speaking my native language and using my normal form of currency.
Don't get me wrong I like foreign travel to a degree, but there is plenty to see in the states and it is very easy. When your country is the size of California with only one ecosystem sure I bet you want to travel all over the place.
I'm making some generalizations here but it does not surprise me most Americans don't leave the states. What is the incentive? Plenty to do and see here.
